The theme this week is...
"Tell us where you are from, and post your hometown bands, artists, or songs"!

I was born in St. Charles, Illinois but lived in Wheaton until 1965.  As Fate would have it comedic genius John Belushi was born in Chicago, but later went to Wheaton High School.  That was as close as I could get (without becoming famous myself - that's an entirely different story).

HAVE A GREAT DAY AND THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
but before you go won't you please go see a song that I wrote!  I am trying to get it to go viral.  Won't you help by going there to listen, share, leave a comment... something!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!  It's called, "I'M AN AMERICAN"

I hope you like it.  Thank you so much... a comment, and sharing is a big thing to do.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and my wife says thank you too! :)  Let me know if you did so and I shall blog hop over to you, and follow all of your social networks and leave you a big comment if you like.  WOO HOO!  I really need to get off the ground with my music.  While you're at You Tube if you would like to follow me there let me know and I'll do the same for you.  Have a great day & if there's something I can do for you like follow something in particular please let me know in a comment below!  THANKS AGAIN :)

If you happen to follow me leave a comment that you did
and I'll return the favor for sure!

  2. I love the Blues Brothers and ironically saw another person with the Blues Brothers too.

I thought I would see more of your music on here or Marie's since you are from Illinois. :)

    I still like this song.

  4. The Blues Brothers is one of my favorite movies. I was surprised when I learned several years ago that they actually recorded music. For years I just thought of this comic duo as actors only. What a shame John Belushi's life came to an end at such a young age! Nothing ever good comes from drug use. Wouldn't it be grand, if this wasn't an issue in our society? Oh well...fabulous to rock with you today. Have a tunetastic week, Dave!

  7. I love the Blues Brothers and the song that you sing. I pulled it up on Youtube to try to hit a share button. Instead, I got distracted and left your page without publishing my comment. I'm back.
